DINKY ATLAS PROTOTYPE ref. 24S Simca 8 Sport BLACK with SAND BEIGE interior – a validation run (rejected) of this model car received from the Norev factory on 20 June 2009. It differs from production models in the following ways: a lighter-coloured interior, a thicker steering wheel, a different grille stencil with ‘stepped’ edges at the ends, which alters the front view, and finally, the chassis stamp is faint, marked ‘Matte’ instead of ‘Mattel’ There are three official copies; this one is No. 3, in Grade A condition (the box did not yet exist at this stage). A certificate drawn up by J.-M. Roulet will be presented to the successful bidder.
