Description
DINKY ATLAS PROTOTYPE ref. 588 Berliet GAK KRONENBOURG beer delivery van, solid BRIGHT RED. Dated 2 July 2015, this is the second test sample, following the one with grey rims sold on 13 December 2023. The model offered here differs from production models in the following ways: its deeper red colour, its injection-moulded rims with no flat edge where they meet the tyre, its rear side panel being painted rather than mass-coloured, the ‘bottle’ compartment has an unapproved colour and internal surface; a production model is included for comparison. Also included is the prototype box, bearing a dummy batch number, measuring 27 x 22.5 cm including margins. Original document dated 28 May 2015. Condition A.a; two certificates drawn up by J.-M. Roulet, Director of the Dinky Atlas Collections, will be included with this lot.
