DINKY ATLAS PROTOTYPE ref. 40 set of 6 ‘VILLE’ panels – believed to be a one-off display sample – received by Atlas on 21 August 2008; it differs from standard sets in the following ways: the panels are made of cadmium-plated zamac instead of being painted grey, the blue and red colours will be brighter in the production run, the base of the set will be plain yellow instead of yellow and white, the instructions will be double-sided instead of on two separate sheets.
