Half-length portrait of a lady Italian school, mid 19th century oil on canvas 75 x 60 cm Half-length portrait of a young lady depicted in three-quarter profile, with her face slightly inclined and her gaze lowered, in a recollected pose. The figure is wearing a warm-coloured dress and a white cap decorated with a floral element; pendant earrings embellish the face. The hands, in the foreground, hold a rosary, an allusion to an intimate and devotional dimension.
