In 2016, JR was invited to the Louvre Museum to make the museum’s famous glass Pyramid disappear. To achieve this feat, JR completely covered the structure with historical photographs dating from before its construction.
The result was a surprising anamorphic effect: the museum’s long-forgotten former entrance burst into the present and regained its former glory.
