Description
A silver LÉGUMIER AND COUVERCLE, PARIS between 1823 and 1848 respectively by Charles-Antoine-Amand LENGLET and Quentin BASCHELET. Circular in shape with plain decoration, it has two side handles embellished with a pearled ring and palmette handles. The doucine lid is edged with fillet mouldings and features a gadrooned terrace surmounted by a ringed grip consisting of an arch of gadroons sprouting from two horns of plenty (three small knocks). Pds. 1155 g. Length: 26 cm. Height 16 cm.
