A PAIR OF FIVE-LED CANDELABRES in silver gilt, Minerve hallmark 1st Title, early 20th century by TÉTARD Frères (some bobèches repoinçonnées au cygne and by the silversmith FOUQUET- LAPAR ) . In the Louis XV style, each torch rests on a contoured base with a gadrooned base decorated with four reserves adorned with shells. The baluster shaft and the spigot decorated with shells are ribbed and hold a bobèche which supports a bouquet with four arms of light and a central fire (a spigot on an arm of light and a ballasted torch base are missing, minor wear to the gilt) PB. 4517 g.
