Description
Original Dragon Ball Z cellulo in ink and gouache on printed background showing Gohan and Umigame from episode 2 "In reality, this powerful warrior is Goku's brother", "史上最強の戦士は悟空の兄だった！", produced in 1989 by Toei Animation.
This cel was retouched by a qualified art restorer using the same technique as the animation studios (gouache paint), as it had been acquired with areas of paint missing. The last two photos show a before-and-after comparison.
The whole set is protected in a made-to-measure conservation folder. It should also be noted that the cellulo has a slight vinegar smell, which means that it is suffering from vinegar syndrome, but without warping.
