Provenance: Agence IDA, Paris Acquired from the agency by the current owner Marion Flament is a visual artist based in Paris. A graduate of the École Boulle and subsequently the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (ENSAD) in 2014, with honours, she has developed a practice centred on sculpture and site-specific installations where light, glass, ceramics, architecture and scenography. The recipient of numerous residencies and awards in France and internationally (Fondation des Artistes, ADAGP, CNAP, Fondation Hermès, Casa de Velázquez…), she creates works that are intimately linked to the spaces that host them. Her work explores phenomena of perception, optical illusions and the transformations of light to reveal a subtly shifted reality. Through installations and sculptures, Marion Flament examines memory, time and the materiality of spaces, creating works in which glass, ceramics and light interact within a sensitive and contemplative setting.
