He graduated from the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris with honours. His work, consisting mainly of drawings and ceramics, explores the themes of travel, the imagination and the encounters between human beings, animals and the plant world. Working with dry pastels, ink, pencil, as well as engraved and burnt wood, he creates a poetic world populated by hybrid creatures and dreamlike landscapes, where the boundaries between reality and fantasy blur. Winner of the Prix des Amis des Beaux-Arts – Beaux-Arts Magazine in 2018, Yoann Estevenin has taken part in numerous artist residencies and exhibits regularly in France and internationally. His work invites the viewer to rediscover the deep connection between humanity and nature through pieces imbued with sensitivity, magic and freedom. Yoann ESTEVENIN
