Samantha Kerdine is a ceramic artist living and working in Paris. Trained in global design, she has for several years been developing an artistic practice centred on ceramics, exploring our relationship with objects, images and personal memory. Her work blends autobiographical references, visual culture and artisanal craftsmanship, giving rise to sculptures and installations in which everyday objects are reinterpreted with sensitivity and humour. In 2022, she presented the series *Je me suis toujours ennuyée* at the Chapelle XIV gallery, a body of work drawn from her personal archives. In 2024, a commission from the Champagne house Perrier-Jouet saw her work included in the brand’s collection. Today, Samantha Kerdine is developing larger-scale works, ranging from murals to sculptures, whilst continuing her exploration of the plastic possibilities of ceramics.
