Description
A jam dish made of 950‰ silver and cobalt blue glass, circular in shape, resting on a concave triangular base with ball-shaped feet. The openwork uprights, decorated in a neoclassical style with vases, ribbons and stylised leaves, are joined by an openwork gallery; the body is adorned with garlands of vine leaves held in place by ribbon bows and lion-headed mascarons with movable rings. The lid is engraved with a wreath of foliage surmounted by a fretel in the shape of an eagle with outstretched wings and bearing a monogram.
This jam jar is accompanied by twelve monogrammed silver-plated spoons in the ‘uniplat’ style.
