Description
CHARRIÈRE (Isabelle de). Saint Anne and Honorine of Uzerches. Paris, A. Nepveu, 1808. 3 parts in 2 small 8vo volumes, marbled half-basane with small vellum corners, smooth thread-bound spine, red title labels, yellow edges (contemporary binding). A rare edition, bringing together the three novels *Sainte-Anne*, *Les Ruines de Yedburg* and *Honorine d’Uzerches*, followed by the dialogues *De l’esprit et des rois*.
This is a reissue of volumes II and III of *L’Abbé de la Tour, ou recueil de nouvelles et autres écrits divers*, published anonymously in 1798–1799; only the title pages and half-titles have been reprinted.
A very fine copy, lacking the third volume containing *Trois femmes*. Minor worm damage to one edge.
