First edition of this collection of six short stories, some previously unpublished and others previously published, comprising: *Carmen Sylva*, *Une exilée* (published in the same year by the Société des Amis des Livres), *Constantinople en 1890*, Charmeurs de serpents, Un page oubliée de Madame Chrysanthème and Femmes japonaises.
