ALAIN-FOURNIER. *Le Grand Meaulnes*. Paris, Émile-Paul frères, 1913. In-12, red morocco, spine decorated with embossed panels, triple gilt fillet on the inside, gilt head, untrimmed, cover and spine (D. Montecot). First edition.
A numbered copy from the second thousand, printed on satin-finished vellum (no. 1311), dated September 1913 at the end of the volume and October 1913 on the back cover, as is customary.
It is enhanced by a set of sixteen original drypoint engravings by André Thébault, intended to illustrate the various editions of *Le Grand Meaulnes*, printed in an edition of 715 copies on Marais vellum.
