GARY (Romain). Adieu Gary Cooper. Paris, Gallimard, 1969. In-8, paperback. First French edition of the second instalment of *La Comédie américaine*, following *Les Mangeurs d’étoiles* (1966).
Both novels were first published in English: the first in 1961 under the title *The Talent Scout* and the second in 1965 under the title *The Ski Bum*. As with *Lady L.* three years earlier, the French translation was produced by Jean Rosenthal with the author’s assistance.
One of 80 copies printed on Lafuma-Navarre pure-fibre vellum, second-grade paper.
