GIDE (André). *Si le grain ne meurt*. New edition. Paris, NRF, 1924. 3 volumes in-16, havana half-maroquin with corner pieces, gilt edges, cover (Huser). First complete edition to be made available to the public.
Although printed in 1924, it did not appear in bookshops until October 1926. Prior to this, Gide had published only a strictly private edition of his autobiography, printed in a run of 13 copies in 1920–1921.
One of 550 copies on Hollande paper, the only high-quality paper used.
