Description
Jacques and Jean ADNET (1900-1984) and (1900-1995) for La Maîtrise. Pair of ovoid vases with shoulder on heel in polychrome ceramic decorated with stylised flowers on a crackled gold and kiln-blue ground, simulated tiers on the shoulder. Mentioned in gold under the base "La Maîtrise/modèle de J. Adnet". Circa 1925. Height 26 cm. Two chips on one heel and slight lack of gilding on one neck.
A similar model is in the collections of the Musée des Années 30 in Boulogne-Billancourt.
