A gilded and chiselled bronze officer’s clock with an enamelled dial featuring Arabic numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. Movement with date display and striking mechanism for the hours and quarter-hours. Movement and dial signed Jean-Joseph LEPAUTE (1770–1846). Restoration period. 24.5 x 15.10 cm. Minor imperfections and repairs to the enamel on the dial; the movement is in working order but requires servicing.
