Limited edition of 232 copies; this one (no. 215) is printed on Rives vellum. A rare first edition of one of the four versions of *La Rose des Sables*, which was intended as a condemnation of the colonisation of the Maghreb. 24 colour lithographs, 22 of which appear within the text. A fine copy.
