A covered bowl with a silver rim, circular in shape and edged with laurel leaves and berries, a motif repeated on the pedestal and the rim, handles with scrollwork featuring laurel leaf motifs joined by a baluster of lanceolate leaves with palmette and fleur-de-lis attachments; the lid features a beaded rim and a moulded edge, with a pine-cone-shaped handle set upon a base of stylised amati leaves and palmettes.
