Eero SAARINEN (1910–1961), produced by KNOLL INTERNATIONAL. Set of six ‘Tulip’ chairs in white lacquered metal with swivel seats and upholstered seating. Stamped on each chair. Chips and signs of wear. 79 x 49 x 57 cm. Provenance: Furniture from a villa in Caluire-et-Cuire built in the late 1950s, where it has remained ever since. Acquired on 25 February 1966 from Lambert Beal, 13 rue de la République, Lyon. A copy of the original invoice will be provided to the purchaser.
