D'ORLEANS Marie (1813-1839). Princess and Duchess of Wurtemberg, Marie D'Orléans was also a sculptress. She enjoyed great success with her marble statue of Joan of Arc, now in the Musée de Versailles. This work was commissioned by her father Louis-Philippe in 1835 for the historical galleries of Versailles.
