DELOY Georges (1856-1930) "The Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, Venice" Oil on canvas unsigned,43 x 55 cm. From the painter's studio, family provenance. DELOY Georges (1956 - 1930) was a painter of the French school. Born in Paris, he became a pupil of Collin and developed a definite taste for seascapes. He exhibited several paintings on this subject at the Salon des Artistes Français, of which he was a member and which awarded him an honourable mention in 1914.
