A Bibliography of “The Complete Angler” by Izaak Walton and Charles Cotton. Being a chronologically arranged list of the various editions and reprints from the first edition MDCLIII until the year MCM. New York, 1900 (Reprint, 2002). In-8, [3 ff], 204 pp, [1 f] (errata), grey cloth. In 1653, Izaak Walton, known as ‘The Father of Angling’, published *The Complete Angler* (the French translation of which is *Le parfait pêcheur à la ligne ou la récréation de l’homme contemplatif*). This work was a great success and went through numerous editions. In 1676, Charles Cotton expanded it with a second part. This bibliography lists, describes and reproduces the title page of all known editions. Albert Petit’s catalogue of works on fishing includes several editions of *The Complete Angler*, including the extremely rare first edition, but not this bibliography, which is impossible to find. - PETIT (G.
