Gerpines, Tabdem, 2009. 160 x 250 mm, loose-leaf, cloth-bound slipcase. 10 previously unpublished poems by Denise Desautels printed on Chartham paper, 5 double-page aquatints by Gabriel Belgeonne printed on BFK Rives. First edition. A print run of 30 copies, numbered and signed by the author and the artist (no. 8). The Quebec writer Denise Desautels (1980) – a member of the Académie des Lettres du Québec and winner of the Guillaume Apollinaire Prize (the ‘Goncourt Prize for Poetry’) – wrote these poems whilst in residence in Charleville-Mézières at the Maison Rimbaud, also known as the Maison des Ailleurs. A collection imbued with the memory of the poet from the Ardennes.
