In-8, [2 blank leaves], 172 pp, [2 leaves], black half-basane with corner pieces, ribbed spine decorated with fleurons, gilt roulette and fillets, cover preserved, slipcase. Extremely rare first edition. This copy, 1/30 on China paper, belonged to Carlos Fereira, Biblioteca do Palácio da Ajuda (stamp on the title page), as well as to Jean Pierre Delhay, fencing master (bookplate and stamp). It was certainly the latter who had the copy bound. Some foxing. Included are: – 4 catalogues (Pregliasco, Swann Galleries and 2 from Drouot auctions).
