X, 128 pp., 46 etchings (including 13 full-page plates) by Louis Legrand. First edition of Carco’s text. A single print run of 130 copies; this one is no. 1/126 on Arches vellum. Carco tenderly portrays young Parisian women, lovers for a day or a few months. Among them is Katherine Mansfield. Published in a limited print run, this book by Carco, magnificently illustrated by Louis Legrand, is far too little known.
