A catalogue of printed works and manuscripts relating to Freemasonry, secret societies, magic, etc. Published on the basis of the index cards compiled by A. Peeters Baertsoen and including historical and bibliographical notes. Paris, Émile-Paul, 1930 (Reprint, 1998). In-8, [2 ff], 653 pp, publisher’s cloth. A very rare bibliography, highly sought after for the significance and quality of its commentary. From 1468 to 1717, 982 works, arranged in chronological order, are described in detail, accompanied by extensive notes and analyses. A sequel covering books published after 1717 had been announced. It was never published.
