MONOTYPE, i.e. a unique print Dated 11 April 1987, marked 1/1 and signed on the plate: M.LARGER An ‘experimental’ engraving not run through the printing press, produced using the Japanese method with a large flat spoon on damp paper, which is moved up and down and from left to right whilst applying maximum pressure. The base is a sheet of Rhodoid on which the artist works with a knife using printing ink.
