Large 8vo, 180 pp., red percaline cardboard binding decorated with blind-stamped ornamentation on the covers, the City of Paris’s embossing in the centre of the upper cover, gilt edges (Michel Engel). Single volume with coloured plates in a binding by Michel Engel for Hetzel (signed M. E.) stamped with the City of Paris’s dies as an ex-dono gift. Spine slightly sun-faded, two small discolourations on the back cover, traces where an accessory label has been removed from the spine, a damp stamp on the half-title page, other minor imperfections.
