Enki Bilal (born 1951) La Foire aux immortels – Dargaud, 1980 Original artwork no. 51 in Indian ink and acrylic on paper for La Foire aux immortels, a story first published in January 1980 in Pilote magazine (no. 68) and published in July 1980 by Dargaud, marking the first instalment of the legendary Nikopol Trilogy. This panel, dominated by shades of blue, depicts the scene in which Nikopol and Horus – who has taken over the latter’s mind – make their way to the church where the electoral contest is taking place.
