First edition of this two-character play, first performed by Jean-Pierre Daras and Jean-Paul Cisife on France Culture on 16 January 1986.
It is illustrated with 5 superb original full-page engravings by the Peruvian-born artist and sculptor Albert GUZMÀN (1927-2017). To our knowledge, this is one of only two artist's books illustrated by him, after the one he produced in collaboration with Jean-Clarence Lambert in 1992.
Limited edition of 40 copies on Arches wove paper. This copy, number 2, is one of 5 with an original signed watercolour by the artist. The watercolour on this copy, measuring 279 x 345 mm, was produced on Japon nacré paper and depicts a face painted in black and gold.
