Set of 16 volumes all bearing Victor Segalen's ex-libris signature, sometimes supplemented by autograph notes of date and place, or autograph notes. Comprising 11 bound volumes and 4 stapled volumes (in fair condition).

Victor Segalen's copy, with autograph bookplate inscribed on board La Touraine, en route for Tahiti. The future author of Les Immémoriaux was on his way to New York, from where he would take the train to San Francisco to embark for the crossing to Tahiti, where he was to take up his post as doctor on the Durance. Le Temple enseveli thus accompanied Victor Segalen on his journey to Oceania.
