[MANUSCRIT]. [SPAIN] Cartas ejecutorias for a member of the DE MENESSES family. Confirmation of the title granted to Don Gutierre de Menesses Luna y Capata, Conde de Foncalada. Spain, 1688-1694. In Spanish, manuscript on paper and parchment. Ink drawings and illuminated heraldic composition on parchment. 1 folio of parchment + 8 folios of paper + 6 folios of parchment + 2 folios of paper; italic script in brown ink, text on parchment leaves set in pen-and-ink frames with various drawings (acanthus leaves; flowers; fruit; architecture; loves; putti etc.); frontispiece, an illuminated heraldic composition (coat of arms of the de Menesses family). Bound in red velvet (very faded), with red-pink silk serpents and counterguards. Under the aegis of Charles II King of Spain (1661-1700), with his signature "Yo el Rey" (signature stamp) confirmation of the title granted to Don Gutierre de Menesses Luna y Capata, Conde de Foncalada, "para si y sus herederos y subzesores".
