The plates will be framed in black and gold. All copies will be numbered. - The price can only be fixed once the exact costs of this edition for bibliophiles have been calculated. 2° A popular edition - priced at ten francs - to reach the widest possible audience. This edition will contain the same text, a map, a decoration and twelve coloured plates...". In a note on the side, he said: "The 25-franc half-luxury edition originally conceived will be abolished".
