A portable Flemish cabinet in blackened wood, guilloché-carved wood and vermilion-stained tortoiseshell (Eretmochelys imbricata). The two doors open to reveal an interior with 10 drawers surrounding a wing with a pedestal featuring freestanding columns, opening onto a theatre lined with marbled paper and fitted with movable wrought-iron handles. Flanders, 17th century 46 x 40 x 24 cm. Accompanied by a small Spanish table in blackened wood, with a marquetry top and turned legs with wrought-iron struts. 66 x 66 x 38 cm BIODIVERSITY EXPERT: Mr Pierre Grignon Dumoulin, court-appointed expert at the Amiens Court of Appeal, an approved assessor for works of art made from materials derived from biodiversity.
