An edition of the famous Code Noir, preceded by all the regulations promulgated between 1685 and 1744 concerning trade with the French colonies of Guinea, Louisiana, Illinois and Canada, relating in particular to coffee and sugar, as well as to deserters, galleys, etc. Signature of Aimé de la Fontenelle de Vaudoré (1748–1795) on the title page.
