Attributed to GAILLARD – Rectangular brooch comprising a twisted band of 925 silver framed by four sapphire cabochons in a closed-set setting, decorated with a Japanese plaque inscribed ‘ Shakudo or Shibu-iti’’, made of copper, a silver and gold alloy with a patina.
Probably intended for export, circa 1900.
Gross weight: 22.30 g. Dimensions: 6.2 x 2.5 cm.
