[BATAILLE (Georges)]. TRENTE (Louis). *Le Petit*. No place, no publisher [Paris, Georges Hugnet], 1934. In-16, leather covers imitating ostrich skin, plain spine with gilt lettering, cover, slipcase and case (Leroux 1993). First edition, published in 1943 but backdated to 1934 under a pseudonym.
Unnumbered copy.
The ‘petit’, according to Bataille, refers to the child, but also to the anus as referred to in brothels.
