First edition illustrated with original engravings by Jean Arp, Hans Bellmer, Camille Bryen, Oscar Dominguez, Max Ernst, Alberto Giacometti, Stanley William Hayter, Valentine Hugo, Wilfredo Lam, Man Ray, André Masson, Joan Miró, and Wols.
The prints by Dominguez and Wols are their final engraved works.
One of 130 copies printed on Rives vélin cuve, this copy is signed by eleven of the thirteen artists, namely: Arp, Bellmer, Bryen, Ernst, Giacometti, Hayter, Hugo, Lam, Man Ray, Masson, and Miró.
