A print run of 100 copies on Japanese paper, comprising 12 engravings by Fred Deux, each signed and numbered in pencil.
Autograph dedication signed by the artist: ‘Introït introducing the melody of a piece of music, set against the extroït taking flight like a bird.’ Cécile Fred, long after 1974.
The double signature ‘Cécile Fred’ refers to the artistic and personal union of Fred Deux and Cécile Reims, who engraved the plates for *Extroït* and with whom he formed a true creative partnership for over sixty years.
