Included is a photograph by G. Le Pelletier, a photographer from Angers, showing the author in full-length shot on the banks of the Maine, inscribed by Maurice Fourré on the reverse: ‘To Mrs and Mr P. Bonnel, with my regards and affectionate tribute. Maurice Fourré. Angers, 21 February 1951.’
