One of 40 copies printed on Auvergne laid paper, containing an original etching by Salvador Dalí, signed in pencil and numbered 13/77. Autograph inscription by the author: ‘For Max Holstein, his friend Georges Hugnet, March ’46’. Max Holstein, a bibliophile and collector with close ties to avant-garde circles, maintained a loyal friendship with Georges Hugnet. Dalí and Books, p. 93.
