HUGNET (Georges). Autograph letter addressed to René Bonnel. L’Herbière, 27 August 1959. 1 page, in-8 format, with address. Regarding a painting that Bonnel had sold him: (...) Some time ago now, before my marriage to Myrtille, a genre scene in the ‘scène’ style, attributed to Andrieux, which he describes, but which seems to him to be: larger than your tracing. We shall compare these two copies and assess whether it might not be Chatté who produced the reproduction – a mystery from beyond the grave.
