HUGNET (Georges). *Jeune maman*. No place, published at a friend’s expense, 1964. In-8 booklet, loose-leaf, filled cover, orange cloth slipcase with internal compartments, case. Edition illustrated with an original erotic photograph by Léo Dohmen. One of 10 copies printed on Dutch laid paper, the only high-quality paper used, containing an original photograph by Léo Dohmen. This copy is accompanied by a signed autograph letter from Léo Dohmen to Georges Hugnet dated 18 February 1964: ‘My dearest shepherd, Myrtille of my heart…’ (2 pp., quarto, in blue ink, envelope enclosed). In it, the photographer discusses photographic enlargements, a literary project and the printing of *Jeune maman*. Léo Dohmen, a leading photographer of Belgian Surrealism, maintained a deep friendship from 1961 onwards with Georges Hugnet, with whom he collaborated on numerous projects, such as *Jeune maman* in this instance.
