A richly carved and gilded moulded wooden sofa. It has a wide rectangular back surmounted by two seated female allegories holding a garland of flowers. The uprights of the back are carved with a braid frieze centred on pearls. The armrests have richly carved leaves supported by male torsos carved in the round. It stands on four toupie legs. The crosspiece is adorned with foliage scrolls facing each other and centred on a flower.
