Hieronymus Cock (c. 1518–1570) Landscape with Apollo and Daphne. (Sheet from a series of 12 Landscapes with biblical and mythological scenes). 1558. Etching after Matthijs Cock (the artist’s elder brother). 300 x 221 mm. Hollstein 15. A fine print on thin laid paper, trimmed to a square edge, oxidised. Several restored tears and gaps previously filled on the reverse. Waterstains, light spots, small wormholes and thinning.
