The general movement is given by the position of the umbrellas, summarised by Pierre Andrin as a black range of three umbrellas dishevelled by the storm. The economy of means with which Capiello suggests the driving rain and the wind is quite exemplary". Jack Rennert, Cappiello, The posters of Leonetto Cappiello, New York, The Posters Art Library Posters Please Inc. 2004, the poster described under n°373 and reproduced full page in colour on pages 236 and 237.
