Théodore Géricault (1791-1824) Chariot loaded with wounded soldiers. 1818. Lithograph. 300 x 287 mm. Delteil 11. Good proof on vellum, heavily oxidised, finely lined. Some foxing. Oblique tear of 80 mm at the head, penetrating into the subject, formerly restored on the reverse. Several short tears at the edges of the folio. Good margins. Ex-coll. H. M. Petiet (Lugt 5031).
